The Russian History Museum is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two Regrowth and Capacity Enhancement grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, each in the amount of $5,000. The funds will be used towards enhancing the museum’s marketing and communications efforts, and to redesign the museum’s tour experience. The grants were awarded following a competitive application process.

“We are delighted to receive these grants, which will help us better serve our audiences” said Michael Perekrestov, the museum’s Executive Director. “I appreciate that the New York State Council on the Arts is mindful of the unbelievable challenges faced by museums during the pandemic, and is doing so much to assist New York State’s cultural institutions redevelop their ability to positively impact their communities.”

The Russian History Museum’s enhanced capacity in marketing and redesign of its tour experience is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
