Event and Programming Policies

General Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. To cancel your registration for a program, or to transfer registration to another individual, please contact rachelw@russianhistorymuseum.org or call (315) 858-2468. Refunds will be issued according to the following guidelines:

Refunds, minus a $5 processing fee, will be granted if more than 72 hours (3 days) notice is given. No refunds will be issued if notification is received within 72 hours of the event.

Unused tickets/registration fees will not be refunded.

Due to the nature of some programs, such as guided tours and behind the scenes access, late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled for a future date.

Suggested or other donations are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

The Russian History Museum (RHM) may cancel or reschedule a program if minimum enrollment is not met, or in the event of inclement weather or emergency. If RHM is closed due to inclement weather, all programs will automatically be cancelled or rescheduled. RHM weather closings are communicated via its website and social media channels.

If you registered for a program that is cancelled by RHM, we will make every reasonable attempt to reschedule the program. If the program cannot be rescheduled, RHM will issue a full refund.

RHM reserves the right to change or alter any program. RHM will make every effort to communicate changes to all parties.

Photography and Videography Release

I, Participant, understand that public relations are an important part of the activities conducted at the Russian History Museum (RHM). I hereby authorize RHM to use, without notice or compensation, my likeness in any and all social media, photographs, and video and images, and, further, to include my name in any materials that promote RHM’s services and programs, or to publicize any event, or for any other lawful purpose (including, but not limited to, the right to edit, alter, copy, publish or distribute). I understand and agree that all photographs and/or videos become the sole property of RHM and be used by RHM without payment or royalties or any other consideration or prior notification.

Communication Consent and Data Privacy:

By providing your email address in the registration form, you consent to the Russian History Museum using this email address to inform you about future events, programs, museum news, and other communications. You may opt out of receiving these communications at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link included in our emails.

The Russian History Museum is committed to protecting your personal information. Your contact details will be stored securely and used solely for museum-related communications. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, we may use trusted third-party service providers to manage email communications and event registrations, in which case your data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and only for the purposes outlined above.
